The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (Mark Herman) The Holocaust, being one of the most tragic events in history, has found itself becoming an influence in popular cinema as a way to delve into the endless stories of the experience. One movie, in particular, that presents the Holocaust in a more empathetic light is The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, directed by Mark Herman. The movie resonated well with the audience and has accumulated many nominations and awards.
